How to take care of my products

What you need to take care of my products:

Toothbrush (I use an old one)
Marseille soap or mild soap.

Whenever you need to clean my products, just follow these simple instructions:

Moisten the toothbrush and rub it on the soap until it creates a soft foam
Moisten the bag with warm water
Rub the soapy brush on the stains you need to remove, taking care not to exert too much force on the more delicate areas such as the silk flowers, beads and embroideries.
Rinse the product under running water until all traces of soap have been removed. If needed, rub it gently.
Gently squeeze it by hand (if the article allows).
Leave it to air dry. If it is a satchel bag, you can simply sit it on a towel and leave it in its original shape with the zipper open. I dry the envelope bags and tote bags by laying them out and resting them on a towel.
If desired, the article can also be ironed*.

Here’s a little trick for the satchel bag: before ironing it I fill it up completely (I use socks) and close the zip. This way the bag is “full” and easily ironable.

*On embroideries made with silk flowers (they’re especially delicate), I simply puff a little steam on them to soften and reinvigorate the embroidery while I iron the surrounding fabric.

NB: The fabrics I use to make my pieces are all washed at high temperatures and sanitised before I begin working with them.

Product compliance and production times

The representations presented in the electronic shop window, designed to demonstrate the product, refer to unique pieces created by hand to order. If the product requested by the buyer is not already available or not in the desired quantity indicated at the time of purchase, Happy Red S.r.l. reserves the right to create it personally.

The dimensions and sizes of the various products are established and are made accurately. However, it should be kept in mind that due to the very nature of the production processes of customised products, made or finished by hand and not produced in series, the dimensions of the finished product may differ marginally from those shown on the website.

Occasionally, Happy Red S.r.l. may, at its sole discretion, substitute materials and adjust the product design, depending on the supply stock or workshop stock.

All promotional images of our products are illustrations similar to what we produce. We do not guarantee that the final article, given its craftsmanship, is produced exactly according to the images contained on the Website.

Each piece is unique. If a product that is already available and ready for delivery is not chosen, the production of the product will take some time. The times indicated are estimated as an indication and do not guarantee that the products will be produced and shipped by a specific date. Happy Red S.r.l. will do its best to comply with the deadlines indicated, while guaranteeing delivery no later than 60 days from the start of production, which will be confirmed by e-mail.

Right of withdrawal

Sales of products via the Internet are governed by articles 50 to 68 (“distance contracts”) of Legislative Decree 206/2005 (Consumer Code). This legislation provides, in favour of the consumer, the right to withdraw from contracts or contractual proposals, guaranteeing them the right to return the purchased product and obtain reimbursement for expenses incurred.

The products purchased on the website, limited to the products immediately available (tailor-made and customised products are excluded, for which we refer to “Exclusion of the right of withdrawal for customised products”), can be returned within 14 days from from the moment the consumer, or a third party designated by them to receive the goods, physically comes into possession of it.

The right of withdrawal cannot be exercised if the product is not intact, as in these cases:

if the original packaging is missing;
integral elements of the product are missing;
damage to the product.

The right of withdrawal is reserved exclusively for consumers (individuals who purchase goods not for purposes related to their professional, commercial or entrepreneurial activity); therefore it cannot be exercised by legal persons and by individuals acting for purposes related to a professional activity.

The costs of returning the product are charged to the customer.

In the case of “return for exchange”, the costs of returning the new item to the customer will be carried by the seller.

Return and refund procedures

In regards to products where it is possible to submit a return or refund request (items already available in the store or standardised, therefore excluding customised products) within three working days of receipt of the notice of withdrawal, Happy Red S.r.l. will send the Customer the Return Authorisation Number (NAR) to the email address indicated in the order or in the withdrawal request, which will identify the file. Within 14 working days of receipt of the Return Authorisation Number (NAR), the Customer will send, at their own expense, the product carefully packed in its original packaging and complete with all its accessories and everything originally contained within to Happy Red Srl, Bologna, 40131, Via dello Scalo 10/6, indicating the Return Authorisation Number (NAR) assigned by Happy Red Srl on the packaging.

Happy Red S.r.l. will refund the item within 30 days from the date when it became aware of the right of withdrawal request by the Customer. If the product has already been delivered to the customer, Happy Red S.r.l. will refund the item once the item has been returned and its integrity verified.

For purchases made by bank transfer, Happy Red S.r.l. will proceed with the refund by bank transfer.

For purchases made by credit card payment, the refund will be made by reversing the transaction directly on the credit card.

For purchases made through a PayPal payment, the refund will be made by crediting the Customer’s account.

Exclusion of the right of withdrawal and return for customised products

Pursuant to article 59, Legislative Decree 206/2005 (“Consumer Code”), the right of withdrawal pursuant to articles 52 to 58 for distance contracts and contracts negotiated away from business premises is excluded in relation to the supply of items that are tailor-made or in any way customised.

The customer, however, has the possibility to cancel the order, but only before the production of the item has begun (such moment will be made known to the buyer by a specific e-mail after receipt of which it will no longer be possible to cancel the order), by sending an e-mail to info@happyred.it indicating your order number.

Payment and purchase methods

Happy Red S.r.l. accepts payments made in the following ways: credit card belonging to the Visa circuit (Mastercard, Diners or American Express, and PostePay of Poste Italiane), Paypal or bank transfer.

By confirming the order to the system, the latter will confirm the order and the bank transaction number electronically on your device, once it has received the payment authorisation. A confirmation email will also be sent.

The bank account will only be debited when the seller physically carries out the shipment of the item.

To place an order, you need to choose at least one product on the www.theredembroidery.com website, add it to your shopping list by selecting the “purchase” button and confirm the order. Upon confirmation, the customer will be asked to enter all the data necessary for the payment and delivery of the purchased products by filling out the appropriate spaces.

Legal Guarantee

Pursuant to Legislative Decree 206/2005 (“Consumer Code”), all the products for sale on this website are covered by the legal guarantee of 24 months.

Based on the legal guarantee of 24 months, Happy Red S.r.l. is liable to the consumer for any lack of conformity not found at the time of purchase.

The lack of conformity exists when the product is unsuitable for the use to which it must habitually serve, does not offer the usual qualities and performance of an item of the same type, is not suitable for the particular use desired by the consumer in accordance with the provisions of article 129 of the Consumer Code, without prejudice to what has been agreed in the paragraph “Product conformity and production times” on the possible differences between the manufactured product and the advertised one, as these are unique and handmade pieces.

The lack of conformity occurring within 24 months from the date of purchase of the item must be reported within 2 months from the date when the defect was discovered.

Unless proven otherwise, it is assumed that the lack of conformity occurring within 6 months of delivery of the item already existed by that date. In the event of a lack of conformity, the consumer has the right to restore the conformity of the item by requesting its repair or replacement without being charged (Article 130 of the Consumer Code). The consumer has the choice to ask the seller to repair the item or replace it, without charge in both cases, unless the remedy requested is objectively impossible or excessively burdensome compared to the other remedy. Repairs or replacements must be carried out within a reasonable time from the consumer’s request; the maximum delivery time to the Consumer of the product is 60 days. If Happy Red S.r.l. is unable to return the repaired product within the maximum term of 60 days, the consumer may request one of the alternative remedies (repair, replacement, contract termination, price reduction).

Manufacturer’s Warranty

All products for sale on this website, in addition to being covered by the Legal Guarantee, are covered by the Manufacturer’s Warranty.

The Manufacturer’s Warranty is in addition to, but does not replace, the 24-month Legal Warranty which is due by right to the consumer, under the conditions provided for by law. Duration, territorial extension and methods of enforcing this warranty are shown in the appropriate form drawn up by the manufacturer.

Shipping and Delivery

Happy Red S.r.l. undertakes to entrust the item to the shipper, properly packaged, within 30 days from the beginning of production.

The customer will receive an e-mail to the address provided when registering and / or concluding the contract, which confirms the assignment of the delivery package to the shipper as well as the parcel tracking code.

Jurisdiction

For all disputes concerning the consumer relationship, the court of residence or domicile elected by the consumer will have jurisdiction according to the legislation established by Legislative Decree n. 206/2005.

For any other kind of dispute, the Court of Bologna will have jurisdiction.
